Every martial artist knows exactly what smell we're talking about. You walk into a boxing gym and that characteristic, pungent aroma immediately hits you. And you might even still smell that musty odor on your hands hours after training, even after washing them multiple times!
Sweat and moisture are the culprits of these odors in your boxing gloves and are unfortunately unavoidable during a good boxing workout. But admit it, that sweat does make you feel like you've given it your all!

Luckily, there are ways to combat those nasty odors in your boxing gloves. We've compiled three tips for you, so you can train feeling refreshed:
The First Line of Defense: Always Bandages!
Always wear bandages, also called hand wraps, during your boxing workout. They absorb sweat and prevent direct contact with the inside of your boxing gloves. After each workout, make sure to wash your bandages at a minimum of 40 degrees Celsius, preferably in a laundry bag. This removes any bacteria and leaves them smelling fresh for your next workout.
Let Your Boxing Gloves Breathe
After training, air out your boxing gloves in a dry place. Make sure the opening of the glove is wide open so that most of the moisture can evaporate immediately.
The Power of Charcoal Dehumidifiers
Once you've let your boxing gloves air out for a few hours, it's time to insert dehumidifiers. Use charcoal dehumidifiers , such as Hypest Dehumidifiers .
